I have given Vic Gallucci some help with shows he organises on the Isle of Wight (15 years) and at the Windsor Farm shop (5 years). Although his shows are advertised as ‘classic car’, which they mainly are, there is always a wide variety of interesting vehicles on display.
Charity classic car show Isle of Wight
The weekend shows on the IoW are held in September and located at the Newport Quay on Saturdays and at Ryde Esplanade on Sundays. It will be seen that these shows have become very popular, in spite of the need to take a ferry across the Solent, which greatly adds to the cost. Both shows raise money for charity. On Saturdays for the IoW Round Table and Sundays for the Lord Mountbatten Hospice, based in Newport. On each occasion, the charity’s own volunteers collect from the visitors to the shows, so none of the money is handled or seen by the organiser.
