MORRIS MINOR FHT 309 D (otherwise known as Aunt Lottie – after an aunt of mine who, as a child, seemed very old!).
First registered on 6 January 1966 Purchased by me from the Morris Traveller Centre on 18 August 1998. It had been upgraded with an alternator
Since then it has had several upgrades, mostly to fit it for modern traffic conditions:
Aug 98 converted to take unleaded petrol, when purchased
July 04 reconditioned gearbox, anti roll bar, servo breaks
Jan 08 electronic fuel pump
Mar 09 mohair hood
Mar 10 electronic ignition
July 10 re-engineered engine (by Ivor Searle Ltd)
Dec 13 rear SPAX damper kit
Jan 15 front seats, with headrests rear recovered.
